Heckler & Koch 'Certified Maintenance Course' completed

As the Australian representative for Heckler & Koch GmbH, W&E Platt had the opportunity for two employees to attend weapons training at the HK Germany Facility. Both employees completed the 'Certified Maintenance Course' to operate, maintain, repair & use Heckler & Koch weapons. The pair are certified to work on more than 18 HK weapons including MP7, HK416, HK417, GMG, MG4, MG5, UMP, MP5, and many more.

Final delivery of Hawkei Ring Mounts

W&E Platt delivered the last of 1,052 MR550 Ring Mounts to the Australian Army's Hawkei Protected Mobility Vehicle - Light (PMV-L) project, deliveries spanning over three years. This project, like the Bushmaster, is a pivotal opportunity to support and protect our Australian Defence Force (ADF). The next generation of Hawkei Protected Mobility Vehicle - Light adds new capability for the ADF providing high-level protection to soldiers, with improved mobility enabling operation in high threat environments. The mounts can allow for a range of weapons, including M2QCB 12.7mm machine gun, 40mm automatic grenade launcher, MAG-58 7.62mm general-purpose machine gun, or Minimi 5.56mm light machine gun. The next generation of Hawkei Protected Mobility Vehicle - Light adds new capability for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) provides high-level protection to soldiers, with improved mobility enabling operation in high threat environments.

Latvian National Armed Forces rolled out the first instalment of Patria 6x6 armoured wheeled vehicles fitted with W&E Platt Swing Mounts and Platt MR550 Ring Mounts. Showcased the Finnish-Latvian Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme at the Latvian Independence Day Military Parade on the 18th of November in Riga.
